About Us
Befrienders is a non-profit senior companionship program serving Gallatin County since 1993. Befrienders mission is to enhance the quality of life for seniors in our community. The bonds of friendship are so powerful among our participants, some of our seniors and volunteers have referred to our program as a Gift of a Lifetime. The true key to our enduring success is the ability to renew the seniors feeling of intergenerational connectedness. Befrienders volunteer visits provide companionship that bridge the gap between older and younger generations, which enhances the overall quality of life in our community as well. Thus, our reach is growing, while our impact is enduring.
